Genie-Lock for Keyless Entry
If you own one of these vehicles then you are no doubt aware that they are frequently taken from the owners driveway without the keys.
You probably keep your keys in a metal box or faraday cage and when you are out and about, keep them in a pouch to stop them being scanned.
The whole point of keyless entry is to make life easier. You have paid a lot of money for such convenience just to have an inconvenience of having to protect your key signal.
With the Genie-Lock immobiliser correctly installed you just need to have your key and your phone with you and you can use your vehicle in the way it was intended. Giving you total security without inconvenience.
The thieves can still scan your keys but without having your phone they wont be able to unlock your vehicle and even if they do get into it they wont be able to start it or even tow it away.
Genie-Lock for camper vans.
The high value of second hand camper vans makes them an attractive target for thieves. when you are enjoying a relaxing break, your thoughts are not always on security, you don't always think about where your keys are and there is always the problem of where do you hide them when you are in the sea or pool. would you even notice if someone is watching you to see where you keep them. These vehicles are frequently stolen to order because they can easily be given a new identity by putting the body onto a new chassis.
Genie-Lock for vehicles with remote unlocking
These cars will generally have an immobiliser built into the key, which is why they are usually taken by stealing the key first, either by using a fishing rod through your letterbox, breaking into your house or sneaking in through your front door while you are relaxing in the garden.
With the Genie-Lock immobiliser correctly installed on your vehicle even with your keys, no one will be able to take your vehicle away. With up to four electronic systems being immobilised the Genie-Lock could be fitted to multiple systems such as, an electronic handbrake, electronic steering lock, fuel pump, engine ECU, crankshaft sensor, central locking Electronic gearbox control etc.
Exactly which systems it is fitted to is entirely up to the installer, making it almost impossible for anyone to bypass, as each vehicle will be connected in a different way.
But as the vehicle owner, all you need to do is have your phone with you and you can use your vehicle as normal. Just fit the Genie-Lock and relax.
Genie-Lock for Classic Vehicles
You are no doubt aware that your vehicle has very little built in security.
you probably keep it in a locked garage, have a tracker installed, fit a steering wheel lock, Pedal lock and might even already have an aftermarket immobiliser which cuts the ignition or fuel pump. But sadly these vehicles are still stolen, usually in a well planned operation where they are shipped abroad before the owner even knows it has gone.
The Genie-Lock imobiliser offers many advantages. Unlike a tracker, it can not be blocked using a phone signal blocking device and unlike other after market immobilisers which often use a keyfob system (useless if the thief has taken your keys) it interrupts a number of circuits such as fuel pump, ignition, starter motor, or an aftermarket fuel cutoff solenoid. making it very difficult to bypass.
Where the Genie-Lock really makes a difference though is with the opportunist theft. Many owners of older vehicles have just nipped into a shop and came out to see their vehicle being driven away. They had not fitted the steering wheel lock as "they were only going to be a couple of minutes".
With a Genie-Lock fitted. you have that piece of mind, knowing that your vehicle is still safe even when you are paying for your fuel or picking up your groceries from the corner shop.

How does the Genie-lock compare to other devices on the market
Some cheaper devices require you to carry a key fob, which you would normally keep with your keys, these are ineffective if your vehicle is stolen with the keys, which is currently the most common type of vehicle theft.
Nearly all other Immobilisers only disable one or sometimes two circuits on the car making them relatively easy to bypass.
Some other Bluetooth immobilisers only work with an I phone or require you to press a series of buttons in the car to turn them off, these generally also require a monthly subscription fee. and are more costly to purchase than the Genie-Lock
Aimed at the classic vehicle market, vehicle trackers are available that allow the owner to follow their stolen vehicle with an app and cut the engine at a point of their choice. These can easily be by passed as they only cut one circuit and are susceptible to mobile phone signal blocking devices, which anyone can buy on the internet for under £100. Also they don't prevent your vehicle being stolen in the first place meaning that by the time you get to it you might just find a burnt out wreck in a field.
